Our Story
Bitter + Sweet was launched July 2011 with the mission of serving the best coffee and desserts in the South Bay.
Daniel, who spent over a decade in the coffee industry, worked at Bitter+Sweet for 6 years before taking over as the new owner. His mission is to transform an already great shop into a more edgy and modern space with an extensive and creative menu, eventually becoming a powerhouse in the South Bay.
Our team of talented baristas will serve you expertly prepared espresso and coffee drinks, using fresh beans from Sightglass Coffee and rotating guest roasters. To complement our coffee offerings, we offer pastries from The Midwife and the Baker, decadent desserts Sugar Butter Flower, and ice cream from Humphry Slocombe.
Our shop is modern and sleek with clean architectural lines. Our wall art features elaborate puzzles put together by our staff and patrons. We take pride in the community we’ve built and hope that you will feel very much at home when you visit.
