Our Story
Bitter + Sweet was launched July 2011 with the mission of serving the best coffee and desserts in the South Bay community.
Daniel, who spent over a decade in the coffee industry, worked at Bitter+Sweet for 6 years before taking over as the new owner. His mission is to transform an already great shop into a more edgy and modern space with an extensive and creative menu, eventually becoming a powerhouse in the southbay.
Our team of talented baristas will serve you expertly prepared espresso and coffee drinks, using fresh beans from Sightglass Coffee and rotating guest roasters. To complement our coffee offerings, we also serve ice cream from Humphry Slocombe, featuring interesting flavors like Secret Breakfast, as well as decadent desserts from local bakeries.
You will notice that our shop has a rather unique look to it. It’s modern sleek with clean architectural lines. Step into the shop and you will notice the unique touches we’ve put in – the hanging curtains, beautiful glass tile backsplash, ceiling panels, just to name a few. We promise that you will feel very much at home.
